Directions:
- In large flat pan, heat water and oil over medium heat.
- Once the water starts steaming, arrange the Alaskan Black Cod pieces in a single layer.
- Sprinkle with the ginger.
- Cover the pan and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the spring onions and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the soy sauce and sesame oil to the poaching liquid.
- Mix carefully and spoon over the Alaskan Black Cod.
- Transfer fish to a serving dish, ladling the sauce over the Alaskan Black Cod.
- Serve with rice.
- Notes: You can also steam the fish instead of poaching it, but skip adding water to the dish with the fish.
